I bought this boot last month and absolutely love the comfort of the boot and style.
However, the quality isn’t as great as I thought it was for a boot that costs a lot of money (Canadian). One of the plastic lace holders broke and popped off as I was at work tightening my boots. I was not impressed by that as I’ve had cheaper boots from other brands without any of the materials breaking.
3/5 stars because I feel like my boots will break in under a year if it’s already breaking in less than a month.

I’ve owned two pairs of the Moab Tactical boots that are advertised as water proof. Although I absolutely LOVE the comfort the boot, its is definitely not waterproof. I had to return my first pair due to leakage (simply working through wet grass and brush). The company replaced the boots as they were less than a year old. Unfortunately, the second pair is also leaking. If you’re looking for a waterproof booth, this is NOT it! Look elsewhere. I was highly disappointed because, otherwise, I love the boot but I need something waterproof.

The upgraded foot and arch support is quite nice. The zipper seems to be better made than previous editions. Similar design. To previous editions which I appreciate and enjoy. Handles the heat a touch better than previous editions as well.

Fits like a glove lol, really comfortable zipper and velcro helps for easy slip on. Waterproof and durable. It’s been one month and it’s easy to wear this far. Fits well on my wide feet

I am a fire inspector for Rutgers University and am on my feet about 7 hours a day and walk about 5 miles each day. I had a pair of Merrell’s that I wore out and bought my new pair because of how they felt, how they wore and how they performed.
I’ve worn them in all kinds of weather and their being water resistant has always been a plus.

The size and fit of the boot is very good. A very comfortable boot that offers the right amount of support and stability but is still flexible. The zipper helps with foot entry and exit. I have several pairs of Merrell shoes and boots. Very glad I made this purchase.

I HAVE A BUNCH OF BOOTS. BUT I NEVER HAD THE MERRELL MOAB WATERPROOF 2 TACTICAL 8 BOOTS. I AM A VETERAN. THESE BOOTS BY FAR ARE THE BEST FOR ME. I AM 61yrs OLD AND I STILL WORK SO I AM ALWAYS ON MY FEET!!THEY ARE AS COMFORTABLE AS SNEAKERS BUT THESE SUCKERS ARE STURDY AND STRONG ARE EASY AND COMFORTABLE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX I WANT TO GET ME A THIRD PAIR EVEN THOUGH MY FIRST ONES ARE STILL GOOD THAT IS HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM!!!!

I’m a federal officer that recently purchased these boots. After only wearing them for a couple of days, I had to run in them while responding to an incident. Very comfortable. If you are looking for comfort, these boots are the way to go. Also, if you are wearing the green tactical BDU cargo pants from 5.11, these boots match the pants.

I took this boot to the middle east and it was super light and comfortable. I wore the bottom of the sole out from being on hot surfaces. I’m about to order a replacement pair as I now can’t live without them. Theyre awesome in the mountains in the US as well!

These boots are great. The big news is that the thicker softer insoles. I’m not sure how long Merrell has been using them but it is a big improvement. The boots are lightweight and tough. They are very easy to put on and take off with zippers that I was not sure I was going to like.

The only boots I get for many years.
There is not a doubt the quality is going down. The waterproofing barely last, The stitching around the toes will give within 6 months.
Put it in perspective. They will not make it a few hundred miles worth of steps. Merrell that’s kinda Opposite of what you become.
The only reason three stars are given is because they are comfortable, some of most comfort found in a boot style.
And yeah, pair like 15 knowing they’re not lasting 6 months has gotten old, I now feel like I’m wasting money and searching for a new workbook. This might be the last pair purchased.
