Bought this for rough backyard work, for camping and snow. This turns out to be a real construction-site “work” shoe. More robust than I need. I had many pairs of Merrells before, this runs bigger than my size – beware.

I really wanted to love this shoe, they seem well built, thick soled with great tread. Not heavy even with the reinforced toe. I’ve owned some MOABs for a long time and cannot say enough about them, however, these feel sized so differently that they are not comfortable at all for me. The biggest thing is that they feel almost a full size too large, I can’t get my heel to secure into the rear and now have a flip flop effect. Now I’m stuck with an unusable pair of shoes because I bought online and didn’t try them.

These do not fit to size like the non-composite toes I purchase. I ordered the same size and width as my non composite Merrell Work Jungle Moc and these feel like a I wearing a size 14 or 15. And a lot wider.

I wanted to love these shoes, they come off as super comfy! Unfortunately they broke my heart and are half to a full size bigger than listed as my heel slid up/down when I tried them on. I got the smallest size available (7) so it seems like I need to exchange them for a different type of shoe for work.

I usually buy size 9 for closed shoes or 8.5. I got a 8.5 but they run bigger. There was like almost an inch bigger for my shoes. Returning and getting size 8. Conformable, but feels stiff on the outside of the shoe.

Got great and kept my feet dry and warm. Very comfortable.

Unfortunately, my normal shoe size in mens for brands such as Nike is about 10-10.5. With Merrell Work shoes I am somewhere 8.5-9. Hopefully you read this before you purchase the shoe. They are still a little larger now that I have a 9 but I have been wearing thicker socks that seem to make them have a much better fit. I would love to give them a 5 star rating but the shoe size being so wrong just doesn’t help them.

They took a day or so to break in around the collar. I like them more than expected, easy on, easy off. A week into wearing them, still getting fully settled into them. Would buy again. I have wide feet so an glad to have shoes that fit as well as these do.

These shoes were much narrower than the pair I had purchased a few years ago. Also, the edge of the comp toe rubbed a blister on my big toe. I was told that it would be easy to exchange them – fill out the form and attach a picture and a request for the replacement. Not so – I ended up getting a gift code instead of a replacement and had to go through the extra step of re-ordering another pair. I ordered the non-comp toe in a wide width – I hope they fit. This was the first time I’ve ever ordered shoes online because my local shoe repair store told me that you no longer carried this style but I will never order shoes online again.

These shoes are very comfortable. I have already order two more pairs for work. The only downside is that the heel tends to ware on them very rapidly. Hence the reason for ordering two pair at a time. Hoping that trading them off every other week might help. They lasted me about six months. In full discloser I walk in them everyday I wear them at work. I do also work an enormous amount of overtime. Sometimes as much as 7 days a week. The heel starts to wear before the insoles start breaking down but they are not far apart. If there are any recommendations to help prevent this I would appreciate any feedback. I also own a pair of Jungle Moc’s that have lasted me for years. They are not an every day shoe but do get worn frequently. No complaints on that pair at all. Hope this helps anyone trying to make a choice.

Bought these to replace some Birkenstocks as I wanted some slip on shoes with support. These are extremely comfortable and a good fit. I ordered a size 11M as that’s what I normally wear and these were tee to size. Wore them a few times now doing all day work and feet never got sore or tired. They also provide a decent amount of protection.

I absolutely love these. I work hard every time I work. After a year of constant use and abuse, they are finally showing a little damage. Which I will have repaired. They are worth it. I will also be buying more as soon as my size is available again.
