Never had a better-fitting, more supportive work shoe before these. They didn’t even need to break in; I first wore them through a long 10-hour shift at a very physical job and I had no pain or blisters on my feet. Highly recommend.

These were much heavier than I expected. The size seems to run a full size larger than other models of this shoe (I have a couple pair and ordered the same size however it feels larger than my others). The shoes seem as though they will be sturdy but desiring stylishness is definitely not a Reason to purchase them. If I were to purchase them again I would get a smaller size for sure.

These are horrible work shoes. I selected these because a famous Navy Seal recommended the Merrell brand and Amazon placed them on their approved safety shoe list. I figured they would only recommend quality shoes for their associates since they should understand our work environment. Boy was I wrong. First, they were a full size too big. I normally wear a 11.5 in tennis shoes and boots, I ordered these in 11.5 and they were way too big. I tried them on and took them right off. Way too big and I was afraid they would give me blisters. Later on I ordered a second pair in 10.5 and they fit proper. I work at an Amazon robotics fulfillment facility and pound the concrete floors 25,000 – 35,000 steps a night. These shoes gave my feet so much pain the first night. They are incredibly hard and stiff and offer no cushion. It felt like I was clunking around with cinder blocks tied to my feet. I thought they might need a break in period so wore them again the following night, Horrible! I started developing additional pain at the top of my ankles where you tie the laces. Extremely poor design. These should be required for the most severe prison inmates as punishment. I’m no sissy, I am a former infantry Marine and used to regularly hike 10 -15 miles with a pack and heavy weapons in combat boots. I never once had problems with my feet or foot ware. Merrell is a horrible work shoe.

These by far have been the best ever. Immediately when I put them on I could feel the difference. I always change my shoes cause after my shift cause my feet are just not feeling right. This pair here did the job of keeping my feet safe along with not having that sore feeling I usually feel. Thanks.

Fits well with enough room in toe box. This is my second pair of Merrel work shoes and this brand is the best I have tried for steel toe shoes. The tongue on this shoe is a bit stiff but expect it to wear down after a few weeks. Not heavy and looks very nice. My last pair are still wearable but the back of the ankle wore down after about 6 months. I added my protalus insoles which are comfortable for my foot and give the shoe extra arch support.
