Very cute boots…but be aware that if you have a slightly wider foot, they may be too narrow. They pinched in my toe box area quite a lot, so have to return ?

I wanted to love these boots, but they were really narrow in the arch. I don’t think that I have wide feet, but these were really tight around the ball and arch of my foot. I started with a 9.5 (my usual size) but that felt too tight. I thought maybe going half a size up would be better but it felt exactly the same. The funny thing is that I tried on a Merrell 9.5 in a more traditional hiking boot model, and it fit perfect. Maybe they messed up in the manufacturing of these shoes?

I wanted to love these hiking shoes. I truly adore the look of these and they’re quality made… but they squeezed my arches so much! I have an ever-so-slightly wider right foot but all regular width shoes in my size (usually a try 7 in shoes) fit me fine. These shoes however, are super duper tight and squeeze in the arch area… very strange. I originally purchased the size 7 but then sized up to a 7.5. Sizing up did not seem to help, they’re still too tightly squeezed at the arch in my right foot. If your feet are more narrow I would say go for it. I have not found a cooler looking hiking shoe but sadly I am returning this larger size too. What a drag…
