The shoes have waterproof, polyurethane-coated leather and mesh uppers. 200 g lightweight, low-bulk insulation offers warmth and cofort. Bellows tongues keep out debris. Metal hooks and lace closure improves fit. The shoes have protective rubber rands and toe caps. A Kinetic Fit™ Base removable contoured insoles provide flexible support. The molded nylon arch shanks and synthetic lining. The shoes have over-the-ankle design.

These worked great hiking across different trails in Iceland including inside a glacier. They kept me stable and my feet dry at all times. I have wide feet and width options was greatly appreciated and fit well! Well recommended for the price!!

I’m not sure if the boots I received are defective or not,but the spot there the tongue connects to the side of the shoe digs into my ankle. Quite disappointing. Wore the to work today so I’m not sure if they can be returned.

I love these boots. They are very warm, have a good tread, and are very supportive. They are exactly what I wanted. I take my dog out for walks several times a day and wanted something that had good traction on slippery roads. These boots are perfect!

Very functional cold weather hiking low rise boots. With gaiters they performed well hunting and hiking in snow. I am particularly impressed with them and my snow shoes; sturdy yet flexible and warmer than my old boots. I would not wear them for extended periods on ice or stand still in a pile of snow for long periods with them, they just aren’t that kind of boot. For moving and working in cold climates these are a good solid choice.

I finally found amazing boots at a reasonable price. I was looking for waterproof, insulated boots that were comfortable and that would fit my 14 wide foot. Love these boots. Just wore them yesterday for several hours in 14 degree weather and 8″ of snow. Warm, dry and comfortable the whole time.

Felt a little narrow and about half a size smaller. The boot itself is really nice, light-weight with a great tread.

Great boots. Comfortable out of the box. I bought them for walking on ice and snow covered sidewalks. I try to do a few kilometers a day in a suburban area and these boots keep my feet warm. Great traction on the snow and ice. I had a bargain pair that I used previously but this pair beats them by a mile. It’s worth paying a bit more.

So far, so good. Haven’t put many miles on them at all. But, they are incredibly warm and seem comfy. Heading out in the backcountry next week and should get some more feedback. Toebox could be a hair wider, but still feels solid right now.

First time reviewer here. My first pair of Merrell’s
Bought these size 10, in the Fall of 2023 at Mark’s on sale. I wanted to wear them through the winter first before I could really rate them. Honestly, the best pair of winter boots I’ve ever owned. Unless I had to contend with a three foot dump of snow, (Montreal) then these things were always on my feet. Being involved in the equestrian world as well around horses and mud (you get the picture), these made for superior comfort. Never slipped, never got cold, never got wet, always felt secure. Like wearing tanks on my feet but with the comfort of slippers. Comfortable from day 1. Laces are a little long, but who cares.. wrap them around one more time. I’d upload some pictures but they’re covered in mud and other stuff at the moment.. Lol!! Just came out of the big Merrell sale from this weekend. Will post later on my new acquisition.
Bear in mind troops; Everyone’s foot is different. What may work for you may not work for someone else. That doesn’t mean it’s a poorly made shoe.

The boots are warm and comfortable. They fit true to size and have proven, over and over, to be completely waterproof. These are a great pair of boots.

I have multiple colors. These are great for snow. No issues at all with grip/traction. Comfortable and are insulated too.
