Perfect fit! These shoes feel great – supportive and lightweight. So glad I ordered them!

These shoes are pretty comfortable and they only get 4 stars for comfort because of my neuropathy. But they are the best ones I’ve worn for just walking so that is a huge plus. Good arch support, I don’t feel the plantar fasciitis in my right foot, overall a winner for me.

I’ve been wearing Merrell Siren Edge on my daily outside walks (3-5 miles) for the past 10 years or so. Love them – I find the lower back support they provide to be incredible. This is my first Siren Edge “3,” which I’ve worn for the past 2 days (maybe about 8 miles), and it does not disappoint!

Have been wearing these inside for a couple of days to be sure they’re okay. Good support, nice narrow heel, no complaints!

Purchased the Merrell Siren Edge 3 Womens 8.5 Wide. This shoe provides stability, support and all day comfort without looking like a “clodhopper”. Great for walking, hiking, gym and yard work.

I bought these shoes for walking and I have found them to be lightweight and comfortable. I can put my orthotics in them and walk with no problem. The style is very cute and the navy and turquoise color combo is great. I usually wear a size 8.5 and I ordered the Wide width to accommodate the inserts I use. So happy with these and have already put on miles.

I have a wide instep and need hiking shoes that will be comfortable for hours of walking. I have bunions and most hiking shoes cut off circulation to my instep and toes after a while. These look great, and they are very lightweight, but I can tell they’re way too narrow even in the wide width, just by wearing them in the house for 15-20 minutes without walking much. The search for decent wide hiking shoes continues. Time for hiking shoe makers to get smart — a lot of us have bunions once we hit middle age, and we still go hiking.

Flat feet and a bunion and they feel like heaven to me.

This past winter, I purchased a pair of Merrell Moab 2 waterproof boots that are the first pair of Merrell’s I’ve owned. I find the boots to have more arch support, more cushioning and to run smaller than these hiking shoes (just in case that comparison is of any help to anyone). The Siren Edge 3 is a pleasantly lightweight shoe with a firm feel (you don’t sink into this shoe or feel like you’re walking on cushions) and that is fantastic in my opinion. I do find it to run a little long, my Moab’s are an 8.5W and these fit well in an 8W. The width is accommodating for a wide foot and the toe box is roomy without feeling sloppy. My only complaint is that they have very little arch support. I’m a little concerned about how that will feel over a long walk/hike, but I’m still hopeful about the shoe. Overall, I’m happy to have found and tried this shoe and given that this is my second successful Merrell purchase for my pain-in-the-butt feet, I will now think of this brand as a viable option for me.

There is a hard part under the ball of the foot. Feels like you are standing on a ladder rung. Not comfortable.

it was far narrower than other Merrell shoes that are wide width. I had to return them. 🙁

There’s are awesome shoes! I walk every single days and have done so for several years and have used several Merrell Pairs of shoes. Love them, they are great for my feel and legs. As long as they are being made and I continue to walk which I plan on doing, I will buy Merrell…I am on my 6th pair! Thank you for providing them! A happy walker!!!!!

Great hiker shoe, especially for someone with low volume feet and a narrow heel. This is my 4th pair (over the last 10 years) of Siren Edge by Merrell. That says it all.

Great every day sneakers. I walk about 3 miles a day, on sidewalk and on wood trails. The shoes hold up well and are super comfortable. I have a wide toe box and narrow heel. These fit surprisingly well for my foot. No gaps and no blisters.

I returned the medium width for the wide width but there’s not a ton of difference. This is a good fitting shoe. I like the sole they will work great for hiking and they aren’t bulky

I waited after I had worn these for awhile before reviewing. These are my new favorite shoes. I walk every day, shooting for 10000 steps, on both pavement and trails. These shoes provide great support and are very lightweight. Fit true to size. Will buy again!

One (in back) was meant for a big hike but this one (Grey/coral) is perfect for casual hike – just what I want. Wish there was more cushion so I might have to add a gel sole insert.

2nd time I bought these shoes. I wear sizes 8 1/2 -9 1/2 depending on the shoe. Bought these in 9 1/2 because I wear thicker socks in the winter. I walk a lot and these can handle pavement pounding and light hiking. They are lightweight and comfortable.

I liked the style of this shoe but it was a little narrow across my small bunion. I was surprised that it didn’t have more arch support to it.

I loved these walking shoes. They look really sporty and were comfortable. But I was evaluating them against a Merrill hiking boot and the boot won out because the ankle support was slightly better. They run small, though. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe and ordered these in size 8. If I were going to keep them, I would have to order an 8 1/2.

I bought these for a trip to Sedona, Arizona. I hiked the red rocks including a steep hike up to Cathedral Rock. I took these shoes brand new. They were so comfortable out of the box and the grip was amazing. I could not have done these hikes without them. A week later you can tell these shoes took a beating but they were absolutely great for hiking. Highly recommended!

The shoe was great for wearing in a casual trail path. I jog around 3 – 4 miles each day on a semi muddy and dirt trail each day. I bought the shoes in October 2020 and they are done for the season. I got around 5 months use before I started getting holes around the front of the shoes. I don’t believe the shoes are the best fit for dirt trails, maybe rock trails??? I would give the shoe a C-.

This is my third pair of the Siren Edge. I need a wide toe box and this style is a little roomier than other Merrell hikers. I’ve been happy with them, but this time also bought the Siren Sport. The Siren Sport is a little wider and feels more supportive. It appears to have the same footbed and tread pattern as the Siren Edge. First hike in the Siren Sport felt great. No need to break it in. I will keep both pairs.

I am an advid hiker and am recovering from ankle surgery. I was looking for something in between a sneaker and hiking boot and this is the middle ground. Broke these babies in this afternoon on a 2.5 mile hike along some icy surfaces and never once lost my footing. These have great arch support for someone like me who is flat footed and feel super comfortable. If you’re looking for an in between sneaker this is it! Great purchase, I may be ordering another pair in a different color.

Problem: need light weight hiking shoes that fit wide feet for upcoming trip to warm area
Solution = these shoes!!
I have really wide feet with one foot a bit longer than other so a reinforced toe on a shoe can irritate my big toe…but not these!
Bottom is extra grippy & they are so cute! Thx Merrell
