Although my feet are relatively flat, I don’t usually have to order wide. These felt pretty narrow and maybe too arched for me, immediately uncomfortable. It’s unfortunate because they’re cute with the knit top and I like the height! Some glue was visible on the black fabric as well which didn’t look great for the price.

Absolutely beautiful boot, looked good on my feet BUT no arch support at all and it was not supportive around the foot when walking. I wanted to keep these boots so bad but when you have no support, it’s not going to work.

These boots are fantastic! They look stylish, they are comfortable. Just waiting on the snow now! Can’t wait to wear them them!

I wore these in the CO chilly, slick weather today, just walking at the park nearby. The pros: They were plenty warm (not overly warm, but just right), and roomy in the toe box, and the tread worked very well on somewhat slippery terrain. Cons: The fit inside the boot is not overly soft/plush, or super comfortable. I’m going to try my inserts and I’m hopeful that will improve the feel. The other noteworthy thing is that on this first walk, the left boot’s tongue was painful on the front of my ankle. I will try to move it around because the right one was just fine. I gave them a 3/5 because of the comfort factor (nothing extra to provide comfort/cush on the inside), and the tongue issue. They may end up working out well, and I hope that will be the case!

These boots are incredibly narrow and stiff with no option to order a wide size. I ordered a size 10 but these feel more like an 8. Awful. I’m returning these.

Just got them today and these boots are very comfortable, lightweight and warm. They also look great. I bought them half a size bigger than my usual shoesize in order to be able to wear thick socks and the fit is perfect.
They seem durable and well made, I only wish they made a model that would rise to the middle of my calf.

Took my Merrells to Iceland and they did not disappoint. My feet were warm, dry and comfty during 10 days of adventures….waterfalls, glaciers, & hikes for miles. My husband loves his just as much.

Just took these on a snowy overnight backpacking trip and they kept my feet toasty warm/dry and I had no issues breaking them in. Traction was also surprisingly good in the snow. Only downside is the sizing – I’m a 6.5 or 7 in all other Merrell boots but had to get a 7.5 in these. Glad I tried them on beforehand because the 7 would have been too small. For reference I have average width feet

Very warm and comfortable, though I have only used down to 15 degrees so far. Easy to adjust laces to be tighter on the foot and loser in the ankle, which was important for me. Great traction in minimal snow/slush. I walk dogs for my job and these are great for easy on/off and walking in winter.

Very warm and comfortable. Easy on and off. Keeps my feet dry.
Michele –
Very comfortable and warm!! Fit is as expected and great for walking the trails

I wore these new boots all over Austria & Germany during their record snow in December 2023. Temperatures were 16-36F and my feet never got wet or cold. I’m a true size 6 and they fit comfortably with thicker socks. I highly recommend.

I love how light these boots are. We just spent a week in the mountains and they kept my feet warm the entire time. Good grip on snow but I felt they didn’t track as well on the more slippery spots. They are comfortable. The reason I only give them 4 stars is I wish the foot bed and arch support were better. My last set of Merrell boots that I bought 10 years ago had much better arch support and comfortable insole. Overall tough, I do really like them. Hope they last just as long as my last Merrell winter boots!
Great B –
So comfy. Very supportive perfect for chilly days.

The shoelaces come undone unless you double knot, the zipper unzips and also gets caught when unzipping, and the shoe is wider than expected so it looks too big although length is good. Would not buy again. They are really warm though.
Lindsey –
Absolutely love these boots! So warm and so comfortable! I am a dog walker and they are perfect for long days in the rain or snow! Feet stay completely dry!
Rosepetal –
I purchased these boots for winter walking, thinking they were solid, and had a good tread for walking on icy surfaces. They were awful. I nearly fell several times, and they weren’t supportive. They also didn’t keep snow from getting in around the top of the boot. I ended up just giving them away to someone who needed boots. A waste of money!
CindyK –
Love my boots. Took a snowy walk in the timber north of my house in a wintry storm in South Dakota.
Liane –
These are nice warm boots. The zipper makes easy to get on & off. Was glad I got a half size larger. I wish they went up my leg a little more for deeper snow tho
Rdibz –
These were very uncomfortable at first, but once I cut the insole a little and wore them for a while they are now very comfortable! They are not warm however if you like someplace with mild winters these would be ideal, but temperature below freezing really sink through these.

I bought this because I am up in Wisconsin for a couple of months. I had a sorrel boot but after wearing the Merrell, no comparison. They are so comfortable warm and fit so well.
Just purchased another in a different color.

I was very happy when I tested my brand new Merrel boots during a very long hike in the cold and snowy Swiss mountains. The boots are super comfortable with great support for my feet, and they kept my feet warm and dry during the long hike! I highly recommend these boots.
Deb O –
The perfect boots for travelling in cold weather. I bought these boots for an upcoming trip to Scotland and these are just what I was looking for. They are warm, waterproof and the best part is that they are lightweight. They are roomy enough so I can wear thick socks with them and they are true to size.
Mailman –
This is by far the smallest size 10 boot ever couldn’t even get my foot in. They were so small they actually fit my wife and she wears a women’s 9.5

Very cute, but I needed to size up. Unfortunately, not available so I had to return.
