Dot –
Really comfortable boot without needing to be broken in. Cozy feeling and waterproof. Happy with my purchase.
Kerry –
I’ve already gone on 2 moderate hikes and one backpacking trip with these shoes and haven’t had any issues since the first day wearing them. They are SO MUCH better than my previous Obos that were literally giving me bunions. Couldn’t recommend these shoes more! They are great for wide feet and the long treks. Happy trails!
TB –
Just did a 53km coastal trail in these and very pleased with how they held up and the weight of them as well as the condition my feet finished in. They kept me dry too.
Jen –
I wore these for the first time on a 7 mile hike. They were very supportive, lightweight, and didn’t give me blisters. They also have a good grip and are waterproof.
Sheena –
Great boot! I hike rough Maine terrain up mountains every week. My shoes take a beating and so far these are holding up well. They’re comfortable right out of the box and have good traction.
Susan –
Although I appreciate the light weight of these and the fact that they nonetheless have good grip, I found they lacked the support I like in some of Merrell’s other shoes, like the Speed Solo Mid and the Moab 3.
Ks1002 –
The boots are very lightweight which is great for long distance however there is very little support in the ankle because of this. For that reason I don’t recommend for any flat footed folks!
Also not sure if there is a shoe defect on just mine- but on the medial ankle, there is a metal piece inside both shoes that immediately gave me blisters on both of my inner ankles. Not sure if I’ll be able to figure out a hack to cover the metal up so it doesn’t dig in. I’ve had other merrells that have lasted me years! but so far, not seeing that much potential with these ones
Dizzy –
Fit like a glove. Put them on & wore them all day. Created happy feet
Mer-wearer –
Comfy from first try-on. True to size. Grippy.
Requires a more padded sock heel because the inside is not soft.
A. J –
Very comfortable boot. Siren fits well and feels good when out walking the dog or shopping.
MJ –
Pretty decent shoes but better for standing than walking. I have boney ankles and there is unbearable chaffing as a result of the tongue fabric overlapping with the main boot fabric. If mid-size boots have caused tightness before these boots will too most likely. Just something to note.
Cindy Y –
They were a present for my daughter in law. She liked them
MetalFace –
Mostly love the color and the comfort level. I’ve taken these hiking on black trails and recently took to 27 inch deep snow and kept feet warm and dry using wool socks. Extremely satisfied!
Jill –
I would have given 5 stars but the fact that the traction on these are not great on snow, blacktop, wet surfaces. They are warm and have kept me feet dry. They are comfortable. The sliding, because of no grip, is horrible and, in my opinion, a reason I would not buy again. I have buckled my knee several times sliding:(

I have owned countless pairs of Merrell boots and shoes over the years. No other brand I’ve tried matches their comfort. I’m a huge Merrell fan because they perform and look great while doing it. So of course all 4 of my kids and wife get Merrells as well.
Siren –
These are not true to size. Way too narrow and small. I own a pair of Moabs and a pair of Thermo Rogue 3s that are perfect. I’m a size 9 and bought 9s in those and the fit is great. The Sirens are so small. Unfortunately when I tried put them on to go hiking, I realized how small they were and it was past the return date so I am now stuck with them. I wanted to love them – I absolutely love the color and design!
Dawn –
These boots are so light they feel like sneakers, yet give me a lot of support. I love them.
