My third pair. I walk 2 miles every morning in them and they match with most of what I wear all day. Took them to Jamaica and were travel shoes.
Jkyle –
Look elsewhere, bottom of the shoe dame completely off.
BobP –
Amazing fit, comfortable right out of the box! I am a casual trail runner and these are perfect for those short to mid distances.

I bought these to use as a training shoe for 50k and found them to be super comfortable, supportive, and stable. They were the ideal training shoe. What I didn’t expect was to end up wearing them on Raceday! Literally the smoothest trail runners I have right now and making me rethink my footwear choices in future races. Really happy with these shoes.
Cindy –
Comfy right out of the box. I liked the styling and toned-down dark-blue color. Just to make sure I am ordering the correct size, I am going to try out a half-size smaller before I make my final decision. One of the pairs will be a keeper!

I own multiple pairs of both Nova 2 and now Nova 3. I loved the design of the 2 but found it to be just the slightest bit restrictive in the width. The 3s are very close to the same but have opened up just enough to feel perfect. I love the design and wear the 3’s all the time. They have great durability and are wonderful for working long twelve-hour shifts on concrete. Excellent quality for the price, and lots of great colorway options. The only weird stuff is the loop over the toe box that’s got no point, and the velcro cap on the heel that also has no point. I have found that in the wrong conditions, this velcro can get packed with dirt and start to flap off the back of the shoe. These useless features can be removed on the next Nova iteration while keeping the same great fit and style and they’ll be perfect overall!

These shoes are amazingly comfortable right out of the box. They also have a great grip to them. Overall this is an attractive, comfortable pair of shoes.

Great fit and performance as expected. No issues with shoe

I trained and did a 5k Spartan race with these and loved them. The vibram soles had good grip even on wet surfaces. The lugs gave good traction when pulling plates and climbing rope. The integrated rock plates kept my feet happy over super rocky desert trails. The mesh uppers kept my feet cool and they dried quickly. I also love the color of the blue and orange design.
Mid T –
Loved the mids had to get the lows for summer wear.

These are the most stylish in my opinion of the three that I have. They are really comfy out of the box and they are stylish. That’s all I have to offer as far as a rating goes. I would recommend if you have the money and like the style. Oh and they fit true to size.

Light and comfortable, great cushion on the ball of thenfoot
Bob –
Very comfortable and very good shoe however I noticed one issue. The insoles of the non-gortex model tends to move towards the back of the shoe forcing you to secure it with tape to keep it in place. This is the second pair to have this issue. My newest pair was received 4 days ago and the insoles are already moving out of place

My son wore these while camping/hiking in Zion and he loved them. Great fit and comfort.
Ben –
My favorite all around shoe so far. Great for running, hiking, and general wear. I’m on my third pair.

I liked these shoes so much, I bought them again, with the exact same color. Fit like a glove, except that hey feel like i need to wear my thicker socks to fit perfectly.

Very comfortable and great fit right from the box, satisfied

Lightweight yet sturdy and supportive hikers. Very cushioning and comfortable footbed and sole. Breathable fabric that doesn’t allow to much dust intrusion. I think these are my favorite Merrells.
Josh –
Great comfortable shoes with good grip for my recent trip to Colorado

The wide toe box makes this a perfect fit for me, size and width. In most other brands I have to order a size or two up to get the width I need and live with a bad fit.
These are lightweight, comfy, and give good arch support.

An incredible amount of heel slip even when the shoe is laced up all the way, and tied really tight. Walking in this shoe will either wear your socks out of give you a blister.
David –
Lightweight, fits well. My go-to shoe when going out for a walk, or a vacation.

very comfortable. I do a lot of walking and this is my 2nd pair of these shoes after wearing the 1st pair out due to pronation of my right foot.

Very comfortable. Well cushioned and reasonably good arch support. Will likely buy in another color.

Wonderfully comfortable hiking shoe.
