I thought there was more colour/texture to these when looking at the photos online, but they really are just smooth black with ‘printed’ texture. They were comfortable but my wife made me return them as they looked like old man shoes. I had to agree with her.

I was deciding between the Moab Edge 3 and the Moab Speed. Both are comfortable, although I’d give an edge to the Edge 3 because the Speed’s toe box is somewhat pointy and it squished my toes a little, where as the Edge 3 has more room in the toe box and was more comfortable. Both were very supportive. Based on looks/style, the Edge 3 wins hands down. The Edge 3 has a lower profile and is much less clunky looking than the Speed. So my choice for a great looking, very comfortable, and very supportive walking/hiking shoe is the Moab Edge 3.

Love these shoes, always a pleasure wearing them. Great service

Great walking shoe, light and stylish.

Best shoe for running on dirt paths where there is irregular ground and irregularities and if they get dirty it doesn’t show. I got these because I have my elite running shoes I don’t want to get dirty every time I run at the Silverlake Reservoir. The Vibram sole doesn’t wear out. They shopuld mnake tires out of Vibram. Vibram tires. Sounds good.

Comfortable from the first walk. Great arch support.

Comfortable sole but they don’t last 4 months of normal walking around the city and they start to crack on the sides these black stripes and bad gluing of the sole comes out in the absence of glue on the sides you can see holes noses in the front are peeling off it’s a pity that I fell for these YouTube videos 400 NIS thrown in the trash now I have to look for glue to glue the shoes together in the front and add glue to the sides. I do not recommend. The company doesn’t mean much these days, I’m already very disappointed.

The fit was perfect but the toe box upper was hard & stiff unlike the Moab 2. Walked for 5 days on hard and trail surfaces.

I had a pair of waterproof Moab 2’s for a long time so I was excited for the 3’s. I opted for a breathable version this time for warmer hikes. Unfortunately I have only been wearing them around the fire station and daily errands for less than a month and the shiny part is separating from the mesh upper where it meets the sole. It is happening on both shoes. The shoe is comfortable and breathable but unfortunately it does not seem to be durable as it is coming apart before I even hit the trail.

Amazing shoes!!!

To me this is a 5 star all around pair. Their breathable, grippy, stylish and it they fit like a glove. Im on my feet for hours and they get the job done. This is my first breathable low top work shoe soft toe and their amazing. I look forward to buying the next iteration or the same one whatever’s available by Merrell.

Very comfortable right out of the box! I’ll be buying a second pair.
Mmilami –
I bought a new pair for glacier and hiked 40 plus miles in them through creeks and snow. They held up great and we’re extremely comfortable.

We went to the Canadian Rockies from Banff to Jasper and all the trails in between. A very comfortable shoe.

I have bought 4-5 pairs of this shoe. Very comfortable and my feet feel great. The problem is that on each pair the stitching comes off. And not really very long after I start wearing the. If the shoes held up as long and well as the sole does, these would be 5 star shoes

compared to my past Moabs this is a bit wider, slightly and hence looser of a shoe; while good it is also a bit stiff. still enjoy walking in them.
Sandman –
Great traction, but very stiff and very inflexible.

Every pair Merrell shoes/boots I have bought have been exceptional and these were no different. Great fit, comfortable, good support, with a quality build. Great shoes and Zappos makes finding and buying super easy.

I’ve had a pair for 2 years and have to duct tape the hole in the tread

The Moab 3 Edge is a decent work shoe for indoor use. However, it didn’t hold up well when I wore it for outdoor work and didn’t last nearly as long as the waterproof Moab models. Despite this, the shoe is comfortable for long days at work and didn’t cause any discomfort.
