I like the Merrell hiker much better that they phased out. I ordered this shoe in size 13 because a 12 1/2 was not available but it is way too big on my girl.

Really cute- great hiking/play shoes. My 7 year old wore these for 4 days of hiking and they don’t look nearly as bad as you would expect after 4 days of hard wear. She said they were comfortable and hiked 7 miles in one day without complaining of foot discomfort.

Bought this for my kiddo. He’s pretty tough on his shoes. Merrell seems very sturdy and they are easy for my kiddo to put on by himself. So far so good!
