Not durable, particularly given price. Bought 8-18. As of 11-15, the soles are worn almost to the main body. The sole material is soft and easy to wear down.
Bungee cord, which is useless for tightening shoes, has lost enough elasticity that shoes are loose. Velcro has started to unravel, and where the strap fits through the loop, the strap is white and threadbare.
Cute pattern, total fail on quality.

Nova 3s remain the best series of hiking shoes we’ve bought our growing boys. They have worn them worldwide on some pretty awesome adventures, and it takes a lot of miles to wear them out. Great product.

My kid loves these shoes. She has wide feet and these shoes have been the most comfortable ones for her. And she can put them on by herself very easily, as well. She loved the colors. We get a new pair every time she outgrows them. She wears them everywhere, from the BLM to the barn to the fishing pond.

We love these shoes and are on our 4th pair. However this pair has delaminated from the sole within a couple months! I’m not sure if the manufacturing changed but this was not our past experience. Hoping it can be rectified and we can continue to purchase the previous sturdy version.

Shoes run true to size. My kid is VERY particular about how shoes fit /feel and this style is her fave (across multiple brands we’ve tried). We are on our second pair of the same style.

The tread is very worn down after less than 1.5 months of wear, which is very disappointing. This is quite unexpected from a brand and style of shoe that is billed as rugged, outdoor and all-terrain shoes.

Fall apart in a month or two – have bought two pairs, they end up with holes in the uppers, crushed footbed, zero tread. Avoid.

While they are nice and they fit my son well, the rubber is pretty poor quality and it wears out fast. My son needs new shoes in less than 2 months of active wear.

I absolutely love this shoe. I bought it last minute for my daughter before a trip to Joshua Tree. They were perfect. I love the colors and the fit was great. She wear them to school now so they were a good investment. Keep making this show because I would buy it again in a bigger size.

Haven’t had these long – but have already gotten many favorable comments each time they were worn. They were a big hit at garden club and at my work – just wish the bugs in the print were a bit more obvious! They’re very cute and comfortable. I’m thankful that I’m able to wear a kid’s shoe. Your women’s shoes in the same print have a narrower cut and tapered toe box, both not at all for me. Above all else, sneakers should be comfortable – women already have enough foot squishing choices to make when selecting dress shoes!

NOT the usual Merrell quality. These shoes were delivered on 5/4 and my son wore them for school starting on 5/6. School ended on 5/24. He wore these for 3 weeks – ONLY for school – and the tread and soles of these shoes are already worn off and I don’t even expect these to last another month for his summer term during June. I regret spending so much on these. Do better Merrell!

We’ve had this for almost 4 months and still in great condition. My 4 year old wears it as an everyday shoe, he wears it to school, on hikes, playgrounds, while riding his scooter and balance bike. He loves it, seems comfy and he has great traction doing all his activities.
