My child has wide feet so it’s often challenging to buy comfortable shoes. I get this brand and style every year and we have been very happy with it. They are true to size and great for the park and playground.

Unfortunately, these were not wide enough for my son’s little tamales. I thought they’d be built similar to the Keens; but they are narrower — not narrow, per se, but certainly not wide. I couldn’t even get his foot into ’em. The Keens do fit him and some of the Tevas, if there are any other wide-foot toddlers out there looking for a good summer sandal.

Perfect for my toddler. True to size. Comfortable for him to walk and climb in. I love the covered toe. They got wet in the rain once and dried fairly quickly. He loves them and insists on wearing them every day.

Always purchase Merrell hydro sandals for my son. Fits his narrow foot perfectly and safely strapped in for good foot support. He loves being able to go from playing in the sand to the water without changing footwear. Great value for me and got a great deal online.

My toddler loves these shoes and he wants to wear them everyday in the summer but the other reviews are true … they stink! We now refer to them as his “stinky shoes.” They are the only shoes that have ever made his feet smell. The smell does get better after washing them in the machine (gentle cycle, no dryer) with laundry sanitizer additive.

My toddler has chubby wide feet and we often have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough. Got these in the wide fit and they are a good fit for him. The middle of the shoe fits a little a on the tight side but I consider that a good thing since I got him a half size up so they’d last through the summer, and it keeps it snug on his foot.

Bought these to replace some sandals that were worn out, but was also hoping to get rid of the stink that was always the problem with the old pair, even with regular washing. Some reviewers suggested that these were also stinky, but it’s been a (hot) week and my toddler doesn’t smell yet, and it was pretty bad before. They also haven’t caused any blisters, although I did put him in socks the first day.

Great shoe for a toddler! Our 2 year old is able to put on/take off independently. They are secure, so he’s able to run around without worrying they will fall off.

We were thrilled to find these high quality water/outdoor shoes for our 2.5 year old. We had been using a very cheap box store brand for the past year but he finally grew out of them and I was eager to find something more sturdy and quality. Our son is probably more like a 6.5 size right now, but we went ahead and purchased a 7 so they are a little big since we use these as river shoes with no socks. But they work great and he is able to splash and trek all day in them! Highly recommend for outdoor parents!

I really like these sandals, bought a size 6.5. for my 2 year old. They are super light and the color matches every outfit. One downside is that they chafe in the back just above the ankle (though they fit perfectly with room to grow) but I think it just needs to be worn a little more to get used to.

these are the greatest summer shoes. all 3 of my kids have these. they are perfect for hiking, biking, riding scooters, water play. I love that they are grippy on the bottom so they don’t slip when in the water. their toes are protected. I used to buy my kids NATIVE shoes but these are the same price and SO MUCH BETTER!! their little feet can breath (less stinky) and they are protected and awesome for whatever they are doing. DEF recommend!!
