Runs large ,wears extremely well ,lightweight , extremely comfortable!!! My grandson only wears Merrell shoes
KH –
The backs hurt my son’s feet, so we have not yet adventured in them. We are hoping they can be broken in. So far, no luck…

These look like they would tick all the boxes for a great soring/summer shoe but they are SO narrow! The toe box is so small for kiddos. Not sure why they don’t have a wide option. We have always gone with Merrell for summer/water shoes and I love their bare step line for little kids. But my 6 year old sized up to big kids and I’m so disappointed in the fit for big kid shoes 🙁

These are perfects for my kid’s everyday activities. They look like a really nice sneaker just to be out and about but I don’t mind if he goes in the creek with them because they dry out so quick. The fit is fine but they work best with bare feet.

Runs large. My child wears a 2 in most shoe brands so ordered a 1 and 2 to try. The 2 was huge! The elastic “easy on/off” heel leads to slippage when she walks in the size 1. Returning for a 13 to see if that works. Love the design and color. Construction seems solid.

i’m not sure if these just run a bit small or if it is a design issue, but they’ve been giving my daughter blisters and she has to wear them with socks. Love the design and the style and the idea but isn’t working well for us and too late to return!

These fit great and are a great sneaker/sandal hybrid. Don’t dry very quickly, so I wouldn’t recommend as a daily water shoe.

Strap broke off of this after 1 wear. Pretty cheaply constructed. I purchased the same style for my son. His stayed together but gave him terrible blisters all over his feet. He has worn Keen water shoes every summer and never had that issue.
These also take 1-2 days to dry out versus other water shoes that are typically bone dry by the next morning if left to air out.
Super disappointed. Back to Keens!

They shoes look great but they gave both my littles blisters! We usually wear natives but they don’t have any traction and worse when they get wet. I was hoping this would have solved our water shoe dilemma but alas they aren’t comfortable.

I like the style of the shoe, but am disappointed that these give my son blisters on his heels even after several attempts to break in. He refuses to wear them for this reason, so that’s $$ down the drain.

nice looking shoe; fits small; had to return due to size so can’t comment on wearability but looks nice

I am an adult with small feet. I wear these working in a hospital where I am constantly on my feet. The fit is great but they are not as cushiony as other shoes I have worn. They probably are just fine for kids.

We bought these for our 5 year old to hike and play in this summer and we wish we had found them sooner! She has narrow feet and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable with or without socks and dry off quickly when they get wet. Most important to us, they provide non-skid traction on trails. Great find! We will be getting her a new pair next summer for sure!

Usually Merrell shoes work great for us — we’ve bought dozens over the years. But something is wrong with this shoe. The arch is super high and presses on the wrong part of the foot (presses against the heel, despite being the right size for length and width). Also the material at the rear of the shoe feels sharp and rough against the skin of the Achilles tendon. It REALLY needs padding of some kind there. It seems like the design of the shoe is incomplete, and the foot bed is improperly mapped to fit a human foot.

Bought these at the beginning of last summer for my then four year old who goes to a nature school and is outside all day. He wore them for weeks, but the narrow toe box wasn’t very comfortable and the heel caused blisters. They also don’t dry out very quickly. I really like the idea of a “sneaker” that he didn’t have to wear socks with that he could walk in a stream, but also have coverage for ticks in a field. This is almost it, but definitely needs more comfort tweaks. Quality and durability of materials was great. Will be able to hand them down to little brother.

My grandson loves these shoes! I got them so that we could do hikes together in creeks and around lakes. The first day he put them on and we went to a playground. He walked up the steepest slide completely erect, didn’t use his hands. The grip on these shoes is incredible. He wants to wear them all the time!

I bought this for the rainy days. They absorbed water like any shoe. They held alot of water and did not dry out. She will not be using these shoes and because she used them not returnable.

I bought these for my 7.5 year old daughter. she loves how easy they are to get into, and that she’s allowed to get them wet! They clean up very easily, and are comfortable.

I will try this review again as it appears my last review for this shoe was taken down. This is a great looking shoe and my kids love this shoe however the mesh like fabric is not very durable as it was not even 6 months and they have holes in them now.

I was hoping these shoes would be the answer to our prayers but nope. The fold down part in the back is stiff and inflexible, this causes blisters to occur on her heel. My daughter is a tough it out kind of kid, and she just kept putting band aids on without saying anything. I felt so bad when I noticed what she was doing.

My 6yo daughter loves these! Very cute, comfortable, and easy for her to put on

Fantastic, durable shoe and great value.

Inside feels like a flip flop. Great for kids who can’t/don’t wear socks.

Looking everywhere for the next size up! Hoping Merrell will restock this style. These were great for everyday shoes for my child, comfortable, lightweight, sturdy. I did have to sew one of the Velcro straps back together. We consider these an airy breathable sneaker, not a water shoe.

My daughter is using these as shoes for kindergarten (rather than water shoes). She loves how they look. They seem comfortable for running around – she has no complaints – and they are easy for her to get on and take off herself. She wears socks with them, so I’m not sure about their comfort without socks.
