Cathy –
Very comfortable shoe! My feet were happy as soon as I put them on. I wear them for every day walking on pavement and the occasional hike.
Pbd –
Put on today. Walked 5 miles, great, I have a stiff big toe, so far feels great!

These shoes are super comfortable! The only thing is you have to double knot the laces, as sometimes they slip out. Otherwise they are great!
Cheryl –
Mesh fabric, lightweight, some cushioning. A nicely formed foot bed. Much lighter than Moab hiking shoes, and still nice and sturdy.
Lace & tie style.
I have wide toes, narrow heel and high instep. I could use a wide – but only medium is available.
Thank you Zappos for being so fast and accurate & for free returns. I am still looking for the right shoe.

I wear a 7.5 or 8. These were true to size in a 7.5 for me. Comfortable as-is but I added my own insole which made them much better. Have not tested on trail yet but spent a day wearing during regular activity and they were comfortable the whole time.
Robin –
I love the look & the sole is perfect, however this shoe doesn’t feel very comfortable.
Cyndie –
Oh my gosh Merrell strikes again! They feel great… ample room in the toe area… almost too much width in the toe but NO… they’re perfect. The curve of the front of the shoe is very foot friendly. I like them. I also like the extra stitching where athletic shoes usually wear thin. I’m looking forward to see how these wear in the long run. My foot size falls between an 8 and an 8 1/2 and these fit perfectly.

These are very comfortable shoes with good arch support and heel cup. I love the teal color! BUT they are VERY slippery. This is apparently a thing that Merrell acknowledges about their shoes, but unfortunately I did not know this before I ordered. I’m unsure about whether I will keep them or just resign them to wear on certain days.

Just a basic, not too expensive shoe. I expected better honestly, I’ve liked Merrill in the past, but you definitely get what you pay for in this shoe. It’s just okay.
Super wide toe box so not the best fit for me, but may be a feature others will prefer.
Hleedell –
I struggle with foot pain from plantar fasciitis. These shoes are light weight with a wide toe box and provide great support. I’m throwing out all my other runners and buying more of these!!!
Lila –
Merrell shoes are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. They are lightweight with good support. I was able to wear them immediately with no discomfort. They look good too.
Joan –
I am absolutely pleased with the Merrell Fly Strike– first “sneaker” buy( and I have quite a few in the past year online AND in store) I not only wore but enjoyed the comfort the very first day!
PKS –
Bought them for my mom. Perfect fit, super light. She loves them!

I’ve been struggling to find comfortably supporti e shoes to walk in as I continue to recover from injury. I didn’t realize Merrill made running shoes but I remembered my old Merrill low hiking boots were probably the best shoes I ever owned. So I tried these because other reviewers indicated that the toe box was wide enough in the standard width shoe. I’m so pleased with these very comfortable shoes! Good support for my wonky ankle and i found the tongue very “cushiony” and comfortable without getting in the way of my forefoot. I wear one size up from my dress loafers in these shoes, like I normally do.

Very comfortable. First time trying Merrells. Glad I found them.

Normally 8.5 and these fit perfectly. Slightly wider toe box than many other sneakers, but not a clunky look.

My latest purchase in a long history of wearing Merrells. I wear them for light hiking. In the past I’ve worn the MQM Flex and the Grassbow Air. These are a lower cut and seem to run slightly longer. I tried sizing down to a 9, but still needed the 9.5. But they are very comfortable with a roomy toe box. Nice flexible body (as contrasted with the Bravada 2 Breeze, which were stiff and I did not find comfortable.

The shoe was as expected of a Merrell: made of quality materials and comfortable to wear providing the support I needed.

Very supportive and feels good on my ankle.

They look more like hiking boots in person, not for me. Definitely comfortable, though.
YG –
I bought these because I was attracted to the teal/tuquoise color. When I saw them in person they are actually clunky and rather plush, which looked weird on my feet. Aesthetically, I could get over the appearances but the fit was the issue and the reason I’m having to return them. The part of the shoe that wraps around the heel is simply too low and gave the sensation that my foot would slip out of it… imagine the heel version of having pants that ride too low and when you bend over, open your crack up to a draft. That was my heel.

These shoes are awesome! I’ve tried all the brands (HOKA, Altra, etc.) but I find myself coming back to Merrell time and time again. This shoe is light yet sturdy. There is plenty of room for your toes. A great all-around shoe. I walk mainly on pavement and these are perfect, but I can see them handling very well on trails. I am an 8 in all Merrell tennis shoes/sneakers. I am only a 7.5 in the Merrell Moabs. Get these shoes, they are perfect, look great, and can handle anything with comfort and ease.

I have an Achilles’ tendon injury. First sneaker that does not cause pressure on my Achilles. Love them

too narrow for my bunions

I really like Merrell but not all of them work for my feet. These fit well and have plenty of room for my toes. I did take the insole out and put in ones from a previous pair of Merrell’s that fit my arch better. I recently ordered a second pair and considering ordering another pair in a different color.
