Fleece-lined Encores have been purchased & enjoyed for years during cold fall, winter, & early spring in the LA area! But the 5s are best! Now ordering 7.5Ms to accommodate bunions & wear w/socks, & they’re perfect (soft gray & medium brown).

I really wanted these slip-ons – the color is so pretty BUT: Merrill has decided to glue the sock liner into all their shoes these days. Removing the liner results in a bump on the footbed where the glue is. Doesn’t allow for comfortable insert of orthotics. I hope enough people complain so that they cease this abomination.

Six or more stars if I could. Comfortable all day long, inside and outside. Usually I wear a 9 and the size 9 fit exactly. Molded to my feet in an hour or so. Will be buying another pair soon!

These are suede but the picture looks more nubuck. They are very comfortable. I am a shoe and slipper collector. I bought the blue ones because they were on sale at the time and will match blue jeans. I would definitely recommend and repurchase. This is my 7th type of merrell shoe/slipper. Buy your true size.

Have worn Merrell Encore Ice for years. But sizing is way off in the Encore Ice 5 – it now runs VERY LARGE! Was wearing a 7.5 in previous versions of this shoe, and that same size was unwearably large. Even the Size 7 is roomy! The inside tag of this pair says the lining is 100% sheepskin, which is what I wanted.

I have the Encore 4 and they fit perfectly, but Encore 5 is wider and longer, sadly.

Warm and generally comfortable, a littler roomier than I expected. I would order a 1/2 size smaller next time. Easy to slip on and off this shoe is my ‘go-to’ for errands and everyday activities.

Love these warm slip on clogs. I live in the snow six or 7 months out of the year. These are perfect for short jaunts between buildings when I don’t feel like putting on boots.

A full size too big, nilo support to mention. Will be house slippers. Get it when companies switch mfrs to save money but where is quality fontrol? Penny wise, dollar foolish. No more Merrells.

I am trying to replace an old pair of Merrel Ice winter clogs which I LOVE. The Ice 5 looks like a good winter clog, but I can’t get the right fit. I first ordered the same size as my old pair, except I don’t think they came in different widths. I have returned 2 pairs now, both Wide. Maybe that is my problem. But otherwise, the winter clog looks great: substantial, warm, of course easy on/off, etc. Wish I could get the right fit.

I’m so disappointed in these slippers! I have a previous version of the same Merrell slippers and have loved them for years, and knowing that my daughter bought be new ones for Christmas. The sizing is off, so we processed an exchange for a smaller size. The smaller slippers fit better but are just not comfortable. I so wish Merrell would not change up a winner… I have at least six pairs of Merrell boots, tennis shoes, etc. but these slippers did not meet my high expections.

Ordered a black pair same size as my 4 other pairs over the years. Huge! Label says “42” as others but made larger, slide off my feet. Took picture. Not thrill. Manufacturer change?

Just received what will be my last pair of Encore Ice. As mentioned by others, the fit is too large, the lining is too flimsy, and the soles squeak. They were manufactured in Indonesia. The foot bed’s material is 5% wool, 95% polyester though the rest is still shearling lined. The price continues to go up and the quality goes down. Thats enough for me.

I bought this exact style 25 years ago and they are still alive! My daughter wears my old ones now. I forgot how much I loved them and saw her wearing them and missed them. She got me a new pair for my birthday. Time will tell if the quality is the same but the look and feel the same. Maybe not quite as heavy but very very comfy. My everyday go to for casual from a run to the grocery store to wearing around the house.

Ordered these in 6.5M which is my size in most all footwear. The Ice 5 fit true to width – my toes were free to wiggle and the small bunion on my right foot was not irritated because the round toe is pretty round and wide. The length was good, however the backs slip as I walk. I don’t think going down a size would have helped as they are snug fit. I have a high arch with a high rise – so a size 6 might have been too tight. Style wise they are pretty clunky. I live in Massachusetts where it gets quite cold and dry in Jan thru March. I wanted a slip-on on that was warm, sturdy and with decent arch support for inside. I have never owned Merrill but do own Dansko Parson clogs and La Canadienne Toujours clogs. Ice 5 fit snugger than Parson and the backs slip with both. However Toujours fit me the best and with better arch support. Yet, I will keep the Ice5’s because they are the warmest of what I own and meet my need for an indoor winter slipper.

I’ve been wearing these shoes for years. The ones I bought this year have such poor quality. I am so disapointed! The materials are so much thinner, not as study and doesn’t have arch support like the old one have.

Very warm and cozy shoes. They kept my feet warm all day during a recent cold snap. I bought my usual 6.5 and while I originally thought they might be too tight, they loosened off as I wore them and are now comfortably snug (no worries about them slipping off!). They would have been too large if I had bought a 7.

Although they fit, the support is very minimal. I doubt they will last one year wearing them around the house as slippers. Quality has diminished from what it used to be for this style.

So disappointing! Tossed my old Merrell’s slippers waiting for a replacement. Came today. Box says 9.5M but these are 10’s. I have worn 9.5M Merrell’s shoes, Mocs and trainers forever! Who decided this size? Going back for a 9? Will give it a try since Zappos has free returns otherwise I would cancel further Merrell’s orders.
