Great fit. Best shoe for working in and out of the operating room. My 5th pair of Merrell’s. The last 2 were Gust 1’s and loved them. I don’t notice much of a difference between the Gust 1 and Gust 2.

Why must shoe companies mess up a good thing??!!!? I have worn the original Merrell Encore Gust for over 15 years now. I am a surgeon, and their comfort while standing long hours in the operating room was unsurpassed. I would typically get about 1.5 – 2 years out of a pair before the sole started wearing out, which was completely fine. But now, with the Encore Gust “2,” Merrell has changed the part of the shoe that wraps around the interior of where you insert your foot. Rather than a flat, smooth leather piece that lets you slide your foot in easily, they replaced it with a large, firm, foam piece that hurts my foot after just a few minutes of wear. AArgh!! I gues its off to eBay to hopefully scoop up a few of the original Encore Gusts, or find a new shoe altogether. Curse you Merrell!!

I so wanted these to work for me. They are extremely comfortable and look great. Unfortunately, while the size was fine, my heel wouldn’t stay in the shoe. This style shoe works for some and not others I suppose. My wife has a similar pair with no problem in the heel whatsoever. Zappos, of course, delivered the shoes quickly and the return will be equally easy.

The leather was not as shiny as my previous pairs of this shoe. But nice. This is my 3rd pair.

Replacements for my > 20 yr old Naot clogs. These are better made with a more supportive arch and a deep heel that prevents slippage. Wear them all day in the operating room. Highly recommend.

Right shoe fit great. Left was too tight. Returned. Almost like the wrong size left shoe was sent.

To be fair, I have worn these Merrell’s (the original) for years. I probably have had 7 pairs but I think that ends here. I know your marketing people strive to find a bigger share of the market by changing the style and the feel of a shoe a bit, but people, people!!! You are going about this one all wrong.
This shoe does not hold a candle to the originals. What a shame.

It is my 5th pair of these. there are so few shoes I can wear anymore so am glad to have found these. They are comfortable and do not aggratave my Achilles tendon bone spur.

they feel like slippers. I have other Merrells that fit like a glove. Nicely made though.

I bought Merrell clogs many years ago and loved them. They released a new model later that I was not fond of. This model feels more like the original. Perfect fit, amazing support and comfort. This is an excellent shoe.

There’s something about Merrell’s clogs–they are the most comfortable shoes I own! I try not to wear them every day, but I just keep wanting to go back to them. I’ve worn different styles of Merrell’s clogs–most recently the Merrell Encore Gust 2, but all are extremely comfortable. I finally bought some no-show socks, so now I can wear my Merrell clogs in the summer too, along with my beige mesh Merrell clogs. Honestly, I try other brands and styles of shoes, but I keep going back to my Merrell’s clogs. I can always depend on them for comfort.

I work in a hospital and wear these all day, putting on about 10K steps a day. Very comfortable with my over the counter orthotics. Easy to slip in and out of, but they still stay put with brisk walking. Love them, my 5th pair of Merrill’s.

I have been wearing these same shoes for many years. Each pair lasts about a year as they are the only shoes I wear unless I am hiking in rough terrain or going into the water. I have very flat feet, so I pair the shoes with Dr. Scholl’s 440 inserts so I get the arch support I need and then they fit snug and comfortable. Don’t need to bend over to put them on or tie them and they stay on very well.

This clog is beautiful, soft leather and a comfortable, flexible foot bed. I ordered the size I wear in all shoes, 8 1/2 M. This clog is too wide and too long for me. Wish it had been a good fit.

So my biggest issue now is that I want to wear these shoes all the time – they are amazing – truly they made me think – “if they can make shoes this comfortable – why is anyone making anything else.” The style is – the style – for what they are they are very well made – I plan to buy again –

My husband is 81 and needed a new pair of indoor shoes (We do not wear outdoor shoes in our house.). Given his age and energy level (He has lymphoma.), I thought these shoes. Might be a good alternative to the old style indoor shoe he has worn for years. They are easy to put on (no shoe horn needed) and the back of the shoe does not permit his foot from sliding backward as his regular indoor shoes, which is more safe. The soles also provide a firm grip to our hardwood floors. He likes these so well, I purchased a second pair for him to wear outside. BTW: I have worn this style of Merrill’s for years. I don’t know why I never considered recommending this Merrill style for him.
