Shoes were very uncomfortable, a little narrower than expected. I would rather have no arch so I could put in my own insert.
Anonymous –
The extra foam padding made the shoe wider, and unable to lace tightly.

I was unsure which size to order in this brand. I went with a 9.5 because all of my other athletic shoes (New Balance) were this size. These are incredibly comfortable and fit well. While I do think I may have been alright getting a 9 because of the style and width, I am pleased with my choice and will be putting these shoes to good use.

I had to have these in a half size smaller than I usually wear. Very comfortable shoe!
Jaclyn –
These shoes work good for hiking through mountains and also around town. They are stiff enough to support the feet while hiking, but also flexible enough to be comfortable walking on pavement.

Cute, runs narrow. I ordered 7.5, the length was fine (I run between 7 and 7.5) but this was very narrow. I have a wide foot so Merrell’s are probably not my brand.

Great Product i love merrell product… I am have always satisfaction

I got these in the navy/aqua. They feel wonderful. Perfect arch support for someone with a very high instep. Wore them for a week’s vacation and was very glad I took them. I was able to double tie them and use them as slip ins. Made them even better.

LOVE the great arch support!!!! It’s so hard to find a sneaker or walking shoe that has really good arch support. Many brands purport to have it, but then you try them on and find out they don’t. I find that Merrell shoes can always be counted on for consistent, great fit!!! Thank you for carrying many styles with arch support!

Very sturdy and very comfortable for walking, hiking and if on your feet all day. There is not a-lot of cushion but does provide the support i needed after having knee surgery. Usually wear a size 7.5 and ordered a size 8 due to the laces and wearing socks. 8 was a perfect fit.

I like the shoes. I originally ordered my usual Merrell size and they were tight and short. I exchanged them for half a size bigger which were better in length. They seemed tight with socks so I wore them around home for a few days to break them in. They do appear to be loosening up. I usually don’t have this issue with shoes. Ultimately they did form to my foot. I love the great tread for trail walking in southern California.

Got them for my wife and she loves them. The size is exact as advertised. I would recommend this product.

My one pair of Merrells, previously chosen after trying 20 shoes and half a dozen brands, gave me confidence to order these on line. I’m delighted to say they fit perfectly. After years in ballet flats, knee pain has made me eager to avoid the knee surgery needed by so many people. I have a slightly narrow heel and many other brands slip. These are giving me renewed confidence and hope – and new reasons to get outside.
Carson –
These shoes feel good right out of the box. They have great arch support and have very good traction and support even though they are more stylish than a typical hiking/trail shoe.
Kerry F –
Sorry to disappoint but I don’t use these outside. I’ve been an RN for > 40 years & I swear by Merrill for saving my feet/legs. It’s like not even having shoes on.
Elaine F –
Great support. I broke my ankle because I left my Merrill’s home when I went on vacation. I bought these to wear with my ankle splint.

My foot is quite narrow, but these shoes worked for me with thicker socks. The toe box is ample, which I love. They were comfortable out of the box, but I did put in an orthotic insert for extra padding.

Fantastic shoes, have given me new energy. Fit is perfect with outstanding arch support.
Pattie –
Love my Merrells, comfortable right out of the box. I’m a nurse and on my feet for as many hours as scheduled, but when I get off I want to relax with a walk in nature. So after a shift, my
Merrells take me for an enjoyable outdoor encounter.

These are the only shoes that I wear to work, and I am on my feet all day. Three years ago, I bought two of these, and this is the third pair. They have the best arch support, and always fit perfectly.
Sunny8 –
Amazingly comfortable fit! I have a crazy wide q-angle and women’s Merrells are the only shoes that relax my hips; thank you, Merrell! Not sure why the stability of this shoe is better than other Merrells for my Mortons foot; I’m so grateful! I also love that these hiking shoes have a wide toe box, without the clunky look of the fantastically comfortable moabs, so I’d even feel comfortable wearing them on a date where I want to be cute-ified. To top it all off ,magically, the Rock/Navy with it’s navy, black, gray, and pastel green coordinates with pretty much every activewear outfit I own and the gray sole doesn’t show dirt the way a white sole does; just wish the sole material was vibram. So light weight and cool! These will be my go to active and walking shoes this summer 🙂

comfortable out of the box – as I would expect from my previous experiences with Merrell.

I have been wearing Ascis for years, but alas I couldn’t find any I liked. Bought two pair of the Bravada 2 Breeze on a buy one pair, get one half price. I have only worn them one time so far, but it was an hour walk 3.5 miles, right out of the box. They were comfortable. I am a true 7.5 shoe size and I think they fit true to size. For me anyway.

The fit and size were good. But the sneakers fell apart after just over a year of use. They were good while they lasted but I expect more from Merrell.

These sneakers felt good the very first day, no breaking in period.
