These Merrell off-white boots were cute. They are extremely light weight. They run slightly bigger (larger and wider) than a 8.5 size. The are warm. They make your feet look wider. The design does not allow the tonge of the shoe to wrap round your foot, it opens as you walk and wear them. I like them because they are very warm for winters i the PNW. Overall i love Merrell shoes.

My podiatrist recommended these for my high arch and Plantar Fasciitis. Amazing boots. Like walking on a cloud. I am usually a size 8 so ordered a 8.5 for my orthotics to fit in. A little snug. I haven’t tried with thicker socks yet but these boots fit to size I would say. Our winter so far where I live in Canada hasn’t had snow or cold but I will come back to update my review to see how these boots do in the snow and cold. I love them. So light on the feet when walking and driving. And they look good with outfits! For those with high arches, I found they were ok to walk in without my orthotics but I inserted a little arch support pad and that helped. No plantar fasciitis pain either. Great boots. I got them on sale so good price point.

I was looking for a high top gym shoe to keep my ankles warm for year round dog walks. This boot hit all my needs. Lightweight, warm, and very easy to walk in. I love that the zip keeps it tight at my ankle so snow does not get in. Also waterproof in rain so far. Very impressed all around!

Boots perfect for my trip to the Antarctic in 6 weeks. The fit is very comfortable!

I dont own a car. I walk everywhere 5-7 miles a day. I live in central NY and i have to go up very steep hills to get to my job and walk down very steep hills to get home. I have two dogs that i walk everywhere. These boots are the warmest boots i have ever owned. The traction is top notch. Snow, no problem. Slush, no problem. Ice, eh its ice. They are pretty comfy and hold up pretty well for hours of walking in the snow. My only disappointment is that where the sole meets the foot part in the front is kinda coming apart. That is where it gets kinda wet inside. Ive had these about a month. I really do like them and not too mention they are light weight.

First, the side zipper makes it easy to slip my foot inside the boot. Second, I walked 5 miles first day without problems. Very comfortable.
Tina B –
My favorite boot so far. Light weight and comfortable. Great for long winter walks.

These are a great mid-length boot. Living in MT, the temperatures go well below zero. The nice furry lining is cozy and keep my feet warm while walking dogs, shoveling snow and out and about. Decent traction.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I am an education assistance in the Okanagan in BC Canada. Lots of walking inside and outside. And these are great inside and outside. They are light weight and yet super warm.
Nancy –
Great fitvery comfortable. The laces stay tied! I’m very happy with these!

I love these, I’m not new to Merrell, they are always comfortable. I like the zip side which makes it easier to put on & take off
I highly recommend them
I live in Chicago where a warm functional boot is necessary

Comfortable for winter walks and grippy on ice. The zipper doesn’t open wide enough to get my foot in and out of the boot without loosening the laces. This is the only downfall it was a selling point being a new mom with my hands full.
Josephine –
comfortable and warm, walk for miles, great grip !

I bought these for a trip to Iceland and they were perfect! They’re marked as being lower on the warmness scale, but with wool socks (and in negative temps two pairs) they were super warm and definitely waterproof. Very comfortable and perfect for adventures in the city and in the countryside. Personally I sized up 1/2 size to accommodate thicker socks.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Great winter boot for town walking.

I love these winter hiking boots. I live in MA and they are warm! Used them up in Mont Tremblant Canada for walking around the ski area. Easy on and off with the zipper. Super comfortable!
Sarah P –
Excellent grip, very comfy (though could be a bit tight for a wide foot), warm. Exactly what I was looking for.
JT –
Comfortable, quality shoe soles and easy on and off winter boots.
Ordered an ivory pair, which is super cute in person.
Adri M –

I recently got these boots with the idea to use them for winter walks in the woods and also for commuting in the city when it’s too cold for regular hiking shoes. I was hoping that they would be easier to slip on and off with the side zipper (without untying the laces), but it wasn’t quite as easy as I hoped. However, the side zipper, does give a lot of flexibility for when the laces are all tied up and you just need a bit more relaxed fit when your in the car for a long drive, or sitting in a restaurant. The treads are amazing and I had no trouble with my winter walking. I feel quite secure when I’m walking on the snow. They are sooo comfortable, I feel like I’m wearing runners. I usually wear ladies’ size 9 but ordered 9 1/2 to accommodate my orthotics. That was the right call. I highly recommend these boots!

I purchased these boots for my trip to Ushuaia Argentina to Antarctica. Comfortable and warm while walking. I recommend sizing up for foot expansion and sock accommodation. Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase.

The most comfortable and durable all weather shoe.
Kris –
Love the fit. Lots of room in the toe box. I wear an 11…it feels true to size. I’ll be heading to colder weather next week…but so far they are keeping my feet warm in the 20’s and 30’s temps with medium thickness of wool socks. Wish the side zipper allowed me to not have to lace and unlace every time I put on and take off the boots…but having the zipper open does make it easier to slide your foot into the boot before you lace them up. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.
Jenny –
These are great boots. Easy to get on and off, waterproof, and so warm. Maybe not the trendiest in style, but perfect for outdoor activities. The arch support is amazing!

Took these to Norway for 10 days in winter. Feet were never too cold or too warm (temp range was -9 to 50’s F. Wore wool socks as appropriate. Feet were dry and comfortable. Size half a size up to accommodate thicker socks if necessary.
